ICEA LION Unveiled as a Gold Sponsor at IBAU Press Conference

The Insurance Brokers Association of Uganda (IBAU) proudly announced its 7th Annual Conference, which is scheduled to take place from 23rd to 25th April 2025 at the Las Vegas Hotel, Mbarara. At the Press Conference, ICEA LION was unveiled as a “Gold Sponsor” for the upcoming IBAU Conference.

This year’s conference is themed “A Whole New World: Major Trends Shaping the Globe,” which will convene over 300 delegates from within and outside Uganda. The IBAU 2025 Conference will bring together industry leaders for dynamic discussions on the transformative trends reshaping the insurance industry today. From human capital development and transformative leadership to emerging global risks and tech-driven innovation, the conference promises deep insights into the future of the industry. The event will be graced by Alhaji Ibrahim Kaddunabbi Lubega- Chief Executive Officer of the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda (IRA) as the Guest of Honor and Mumba Kenneth Kalifungwa- Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic Bank Uganda as the Keynote Speaker.

The conference will showcase expert panelists from Uganda, Rwanda and the broader region, focusing on key topics like; modern distribution models, strategic partnerships, regulatory advancements, regional integration, insuretech innovations, policy developments and valuable networking opportunities. There will also be enriching cultural experiences, and these include; a tour of the Igongo Cultural Centre, talent show night and barbecue.
